Top 10 Airbnb & HomeAway French rentals in Montpellier

Top 10 Airbnb and HomeAway French Rentals in Montpellier

We are all guilty of searching for rentals in the South of France. I’ve spent most of my childhood dreaming of laying out on the beach with the sun on my skin with Southern France as my backdrop. My Google search bar was cluttered with french rentals in Montpellier. Followed by Top Airbnb Rentals in Montpellier and more recently Top 10 HomeAway Rentals in Montpellier. ” Next thing you know my Facebook is showing ads for French rentals in Montpellier. Oops.

Coucou! If you’ve been reading American French Mom, you know I love everything about the South of France. Between the constant sunshine, beautiful views, and unbeatable way of life, it’s no wonder almost 90 million foreigners traveled to France in 2018. Montpellier, a city in the South of France, has stolen my heart. It is the hometown of my French husband, Yannick, and the first location I voyaged to in France. With all the history and architectural beauty, it would be a real shame to not stay as the locals do in an Airbnb or HomeAway French Rental in MPT.

Discovering the Top Airbnb Rentals in The South of France

Top Airbnb Rentals in Montpellier, quiet historic center
Suite Jacuzzi Design et Caractère Centre historique Piéton by Emilie

Airbnb #1: French rentals in Montpellier, the historic center

Looking for a quiet rental in the South of France that’s both close to all the action and away from the crazy tourists can be a real challenge. Luckily, I have found a quiet French rental that will have you jumping into a jacuzzi with a glass of champagne. You can sleep up to 4 guests with sleeping arrangements for a baby as well. Did I mention it’s pet-friendly?

Summary of Suite Jacuzzi Design et Caractère Centre historique Piéton from host Emilie: The apartment is on the first floor of a stone building in the historic pedestrian center with no bars or restaurants, making it a peaceful retreat. It’s just behind the Panacea, which is a modern art living space.” Book this suite jacuzzi design via Airbnb here

House rules:

󰀥 Check-in: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM 󰀥 Checkout: 11:00 AM 󰄄 Self check-in with lockbox 󱤈 No smoking 󱤂 No parties or events 󱤅 Pets are allowed

Price Breakdown: You also cannot beat the price in my opinion. €50 a night with a two-night minimum is not bad when talking about staying in the historic center. I do wish there were actually two beds to accommodate 4 people because it means two people will be sleeping in the living room. Also, the bed in the bedroom is only a full size which is something to keep in mind.

Overall Opinion: I would book this Airbnb if I wanted to stay in Montpellier after a long night out. Excellent if Yannick and I had the baby and Coco Bacon with us. I do however wish it had an outdoor space or balcony. I know that is asking a lot for the price.
